Sogndal: This Sunday, the American hardrock band Crown of Thorns comes to Bergen to release their first album in seven years. Front figure Jean Beauvoir would like to be in Sogn. It is a co-operation between the American record label Lost Cathedral Records and Bergen label Reel Noise, that is making sure that the American hard rock band, this Sunday, has their first exclusive release in Norway. Unlike the original "Faith" album that has been released in Europe, the American version has three bonus tracks and a new cover design making, according to Reel Noise, the album a "must have" for Crown of Thorns and Jean Beauvoir’s many fans. Jean Beauvoir used to be a bass player in The Plasmatics and vocalist in Voodoo X and he had his serious breaktrough when he sold three times worldwide platinum with the single "Feel The Heat" from the album "Drums along the Mohawk". My manager has a summer house there and he has showed me pictures of a place called "The preachers pawn". What an idyllic place and what a view. – I sincerely hope that I will get the chance to experience that place" says Jean Beauvoir according to a press release from the record label. Min manager sin familie har hus der og han har vist meg bilete av ein stad som heiter Prestedammen. For ein idyllisk stad - og for ei utsikt. Eg vonar inderleg at eg får sjansen til å oppleva den staden", seier vokalisten Jean Beauvoir ifølgje ei pressemelding frå plateselskapet.
